Cole E. Sjeklocha, Loan Officer
Cole joined Silver Lake Bank as an intern in 2015 and continued to work for the bank on a part-time basis up until his graduation from Kansas State University in 2016. Cole spent two years at Dodge City Community College on a football scholarship and then moved on to finish his degree in Finance at Kansas State. Cole grew up in Sublette, Kansas and spent his time in sports, being in the outdoors, and teaching people how to pronounce his last name (the ‘j’ is silent and it is pronounced suh-clo-cha).
Cole spends a lot of his free time at Fellowship Bible Church, where he helps with the high school ministry program and also leads a Bible study with his wife. Cole enjoys anything that gets him in the outdoors and depending on the time of year, you can find him in a tree stand, on a mountain bike trail, golf course, or skiing down a mountain in Colorado. Cole loves spending time with his family and when wheat, corn, and bean harvest rolls around, Cole leaves the office to help on his wife’s family farm, located near Dodge City. He is also a Kansas State football season ticket holder!
Cole enjoys working with agricultural and small business customers and tries to be very involved in the Silver Lake and Topeka communities. He has enjoyed building new relationships in NE Kansas and looks forward to building even more in the future. Cole and his wife, Mikayla, reside in Silver Lake.
